Monday 11th June

Left the apartment at 6.30 in the morning to go to Macca’s for the internet but…Macca’s was closed. Looked at the river on the way home, and it was dark brown and scarily fast. Pretty much decided there and then to postpone the first run, so we did a lake session. Ben Oakley called us wimps and went down with the pseudo Americans and afterwards said it was a bit bigger than he thought. River dropped in afternoon to a high classic level so I got my first run in. It’s not a river, it’s a very wet roller coaster!
